According to the qualification allocation scheme of volleyball in Paris Olympic Games, there are 12 teams in women’s and men’s indoor volleyball. France, the host country, will automatically qualify for the competition, and the remaining teams will be selected through Olympic qualifiers and world rankings.
There are 24 teams in men’s and women’s volleyball teams participating in the Olympic qualifiers. Women’s Volleyball Qualifying Tournaments will be held in China, Japan and Poland from September 16th to 24th. Twenty-four teams will be divided into three groups, with 8 teams in each group playing single round robin, and the top two teams will qualify for the Olympic Games.
