Regarding the cause of the accident, the official preliminary technical analysis is as follows: In this accident scenario, the thin pillar is an "I" shaped metal structure, and the size is too small; resulting in insufficient position accuracy of obstacles constructed by on-board ultrasonic radars, cameras and other sensing sensors, resulting in scratches between the vehicle and the metal thin pillar. For similar weak scenarios of automatic parking, Zhiji has collected a large number of thin pillar scene data for model training, and synchronously and quickly iterated the fusion sensing algorithm with more stable performance. Through the latest simulation evaluation, the detection ability and detection position accuracy of metal thin pillars in similar scenarios have been greatly improved; after further optimization and verification, it will be upgraded and pushed through OTA.
